Party Games, Picnic Games, Dancing Games and more!

With The Gecko Gang kids can participate in many types of games. At birthday parties they can play old favourites like Duck Duck Goose, Traffic Lights and Captain's Coming, join in some dancing fun and musical games, compete in a sack race or a three legged race or join in some parachute games. At picnics, festivals or major parties we can get the whole family involved in a Geeta Race, Obstacle races, relays, parachute games, earthball games and everyone's favourite, the tug of war. Games can be the best part of an event because kids love playing with one another. The Gecko Gang train our staff to be enthusiastic games facilitators encouraging even the most shy kids to get involved. Starting with simple games most kids would know, to break the ice, then moving through a range of games that would suit the age of the kids, the weather and varying energy levels.

Party Games

(suitable for all ages and numbers)

Party games can be included in any private party where time permits. They are usually played after the face painting is finished (if applicable). They consist of general group games where a brief instruction is given and then everyone joins in. Our party leaders may play games where competition is involved but they place more importance on participation rather than winning the games. Our staff are involved with parties every weekend and are well practised in choosing games for particular age groups, play areas and weather conditions. Of course if your child has a particular game they would like to play then don't hesitate to ask and we will do our best to include it in the party.

Sessions can go for 1.5 hours up to 3 hours depending on the event. Picnic games require a large grassed area. Street Games

Street games are a modified version of the picnic games session that is able to be played on a concrete surface. They are suited to store or other promotions where only a concrete area is available but games are still desirable. The sessions include activities like hopscotch, skipping games, balancing games, hoops, quoits, ball games etc. The games can be organised in a free play environment where the kids are encouraged to join in the activities, or a more competitive environment where races and activities are organised in a more structured way depending on the type of event. Parachute games are generally not suited to this type of surface.
