Sample End of Year School Fun Day Program

Over the years the Gecko Gang has helped many schools round the year off with a fantastic fun day. With rising costs and issues related to taking children off the school grounds, a stay at school fun day can be a great way to go. Usually we look at the number of kids that will be participating and the amount of time you want the activities to run for and we would work out a program to suit.

Here are a couple of examples of how a fun day could work. All the stations are supervised by Gecko Gang staff but teachers are required to be on site for disciplinary needs. Costs are indicative only are are subject to change depending on location, timing & related matters.

PROGRAM ONE - suits approx. 200 students

Activities

Station 1    2 x Combo castles

Station 2    Novelty Races (equip like - sacks, skip ropes, bean bags, hoops, 3 leg, toboggans, snow   shoes, geetas, kanga bouncers etc)

Station 3    Parachute Games

Station 4    Earthball games 

Timing

9.30 – 10.00      Round 1

10.05 - 10.35    Round 2

10.35 – 10.55    Recess

11.00 – 11.30    Round 3

11.35 – 12.05    Round 4

PROGRAM TWO - suits approx. 400 students 

Activities:

1                     2 x jumping castles

2                     Parachute games 

3                     2 x combo jumping castles 

4                     Novelty races:                      

                       a.       For K – 2              kanga bouncers, egg & spoon, sack races bean bag races                      

                       b.      For 3 – 4              snow shoe race, kanga bouncers, egg & spoon, skipping race                      

                       c.       For 5 – 6              toboggan races, geetas, snow shoes, 3 legged race.

 

Timing

Group 1                K – 2                     9.15 – 10.45

Group 2                3 – 4                     11.10 – 12.40

Group 3                5 – 6                     1.20 – 2.50

Divide the kids into 4 groups of approx. 35 kids.

Children will stay at each station for approx. 20 minutes.

Timing and activities will be organised by the Gecko Gang. Teachers would be required with each group for disciplinary measures.
