The Gecko Gang has the largest range of party and event castles available in the ACT. From mini castles to the huge super slide there is something for every event!
- Jumping castles and rides are a great way to entertain kids at any event. Birthday parties just aren't complete without one. Think of all that energy being used up in the castle instead of in your house or backyard and don't worry if it's a bit cold, the kids won't feel it because they'll be too busy bouncing around keeping themselves warm! Public events also benefit from the added colour, vision and movement accompanied by a jumping castle in full use and the kids just never tire out.
- You can hire any of our castles on their own or take advantage of our great package prices by adding on some face painting, balloon modelling or games.
- All of our castles, and other services, are covered by a $20 million public liability insurance policy and all of our supervising staff have been trained in the safe operation of all the rides. Our jumping castles are generally only suitable for set up on a level grassed site as they all need to be pegged down. They can sometimes be set up on other smooth surfaces (like concrete or pavers) but only with a site inspection prior as this type of set up outside is not as secure. They can also be set up indoors where the ceiling height allows. The lowest castle height is approx. 2.8m and would require a ceiling of at least 3m. Some function rooms and halls may be appropriate but house ceilings and garages are generally too low.
- All of the jumping castles require continual access to power for the entire booking time. The Monkey Madness, Princess, Toy Story, Tinkerbell, Madagascar, Shrek, Finding Nemo and Mickey Combo castles can all be set up in your backyard provided there is at least the grass space available as listed with each castle description below. All other castles are generally too big for a suburban backyard and require one of our supervisors to be present in order to fulfill our insurance requirements.
- For the same reason we also need permission from the land owners to set up the castle in parks or public places. Most of these places are governed by either Urban Services or the National Capital Authority (Parliamentary Triangle) or by local councils (in nearby NSW cities) or Body Corporates. Permission is usually granted after filling out a form and lodging it along with a copy of our public liability insurance.
- Due to the problems of adequate lighting after dark, all of our castles can only be used in daylight hours and must finish by sunset at any given time of the year.

Monkey Madness Mini castle
